LeasePoint does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not currently use personal information collected on this website for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still communicate an opt-out so your preference is clear if our practices change or if a state-law definition applies to a particular disclosure.

An email request may apply beyond the current browser after we verify and process it. A browser signal or cookie setting generally applies only to the browser or device that sends or stores it.

Limit the use of my sensitive personal information

Information used in equipment financing may include financial information, account identifiers, creditworthiness information, government identifiers, or other information treated as sensitive under applicable law. LeasePoint uses sensitive personal information for purposes reasonably necessary to evaluate and provide requested Services, verify identity and account ownership, prevent fraud, maintain security, service transactions, and comply with law.

We do not use sensitive personal information collected through the Services to infer unrelated characteristics about you. You may ask us to limit a qualifying use or disclosure:

Access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, or appeal

• a clear description of the request.

Requests through an authorized agent

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit an opt-out or other privacy request for you. The agent should identify the request as an authorized-agent request and provide:

• the consumer’s name and state of residence;
• the agent’s name and contact information;
• the specific right being exercised; and
• proof that the consumer authorized the agent, such as written permission or a valid power of attorney.

We may contact the consumer directly to confirm the request and may verify the identity of both the consumer and agent. We will not require direct confirmation where applicable law prohibits it.

Verification and response process

We may deny or limit a request when we cannot verify it, when an exception applies, or when the request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, technically infeasible, or would adversely affect another person’s rights. Where required, we will explain the reason and how to appeal.
